0.75-liter bottle of Mas Farreny 2001 red, 85% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon.
Reserve red wine, produced only in exceptional vintages from the Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards on our Mas Farreny property. After remaining for 12 months in American and French oak barrels, the aging process takes place in the bottle. Intense ripe cherry red color with slight ochre tones. Oak roasts (vanilla and smoke) dominate, with small notes of ripe fruits and varietal aromas. On the palate it is round but slightly dry. The taste is long with a good tannic presence. It is recommended to decant it for a better tasting experience.
